Delete your Virio account in the app
Open Virio and go to Settings → Account and privacy → Delete Virio account. Review the warning, choose Delete permanently, and confirm. This removes your Virio profile and account-owned topics, drafts, schedules, connected-account metadata, and analytics from the active database.
Account deletion cannot be undone. Sign out on shared devices after completing the request.
Export your data first
Before deletion, go to Settings → Account and privacy → Copy my data export. The export includes your profile, topics, settings, and connected-account metadata available to the app.
Disconnect Threads without deleting Virio
To keep Virio but stop the connection, go to Settings or Connected accounts, select the Threads account, and choose Disconnect. Virio will stop using that connection. You can also revoke Virio permissions from your Meta account.
A disconnected connection record may remain for security and audit purposes until you delete your Virio account. Email us if you want that record erased sooner.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email lashket@gmail.com from the address linked to your Virio account with the subject “Virio data deletion”. State whether you want the entire account deleted or only a Threads connection removed.
We will verify that the request comes from the account holder. Do not send your password, access token, or identity document unless we specifically explain why it is legally necessary.
Timing and limited retention
In-app deletion is submitted immediately. Verified email requests are handled without undue delay and normally within 30 days. Active account data is deleted from the primary database; limited security records, de-identified events, legal records, and rotating backups may remain for the periods described in the Privacy Policy before deletion or overwrite.
Data held by other services
Deleting Virio does not delete your Threads/Meta account, published Threads posts, Apple or Google account, or data those providers hold independently. Use the privacy and deletion controls of the relevant provider for that data.
